Information About SOTI, the HSA, and This Web Site

School of the Incarnation, or SOTI, opened in September 2000 with two kindergarten classes at Our Lady of the Fields Church in Millersville. The following year, those two classes were joined by two new kindergarten classes. In September 2002, the School moved to its present site in Gambrills after an incredibly successful Capital Campaign, and added three new kindergarten classes as well as new classes in grades 3 through 6. Grades 7 and 8 were added in the next two years, and new kindergartens have all had three classes. When fully populated, the School will comprise three classes in each of grades K-8, for a potential of over 800 students!

The Home and School Association, or HSA, was formed in the Winter of 2001. The first Executive Board drafted HSA bylaws and prepared for the expanded parent community the following Spring. They adopted as their guiding principle the following statement:

The Home and School Association of the School of the Incarnation is devoted to enriching the experiences of all students of the school, by promoting communication and cooperation among and between the students, parents, faculty, administration, and parishes associated with the Baltimore Archdiocese's newest school.

The HSA is composed of families of students, faculty, and administration. It includes an Executive Board of elected officers and appointed Faculty and is governed by its bylaws (available by clicking here).

This website is maintained by volunteer members of the HSA. Additional volunteers are always welcome (send email to the address at the bottom of the page!). If you have an idea for the website, please send it in! We do have "Terms and Conditions" for the use of our site -- view them by clicking here.
